1. About These Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the KARTR platform ("KARTR", "we", "us", "our"), a sponsorship marketplace connecting amateur and beginner/intermediate racing drivers with brands seeking to sponsor them.

By registering for or using KARTR, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.

​

2. Who Can Use KARTR

Brands must be a registered business or organisation with authority to enter into sponsorship agreements.

Drivers must be at least 13 years old. If you are between 13 and 17, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept these Terms on your behalf before you create an account. By registering a minor's account, the parent or guardian accepts full responsibility for that account's activity.

All users must provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information when registering.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at contact@joinkartr.com if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.

​

You may not create more than one account, impersonate another person or entity, or register on behalf of someone else without their explicit authorisation.

​

4. The KARTR Platform

KARTR provides a marketplace where:

• Drivers create profiles showcasing their racing background, media, and sponsorship goals

• Brands browse driver profiles and express interest in sponsorship opportunities

• Both parties negotiate, agree, and formalise sponsorship deals through the KARTR platform

Driver profiles may be publicly visible to any visitor, including those without a KARTR account, and may be indexed by search engines. By registering as a driver and creating a profile, you consent to your profile information being publicly accessible in this way. You can set your profile to private at any time in your settings.

All deal communications and agreements must take place on-platform or through KARTR. If drivers are found to be communicating with active sponsors on KARTR outside of the platform, KARTR reserves the right to permanently ban the driver from the platform.

5. Sponsorship Deals and Commission

When a sponsorship deal is agreed between a driver and a brand through KARTR, KARTR charges a commission on the value of that deal. The applicable commission rate will be clearly displayed before any deal is confirmed.

By confirming a deal, both parties authorise KARTR to collect and process payment in accordance with the agreed terms. KARTR uses third-party payment processors to handle transactions securely.

​

6. Donations

KARTR allows supporters to make one-off donations to drivers listed on the platform. Donations are processed securely via Stripe.

​

The minimum donation amount is £5. You must be 18 years of age or older to make a donation. By proceeding with a donation, you confirm that you are 18 or over. KARTR reserves the right to reverse any transaction where this condition is found not to have been met.

​

KARTR deducts a 5% platform processing fee from the total amount donated. The remaining 95% is held by Stripe on behalf of KARTR which is held on the driver's behalf and paid out to the driver within 5 working days after the end of the calendar month in which the donation was received.

​

When making a donation, you will be asked to enter and confirm the driver's name. It is your responsibility to ensure the name you enter is correct. If the name you enter does not match a driver registered on the KARTR platform, your donation will be refunded in full, including the processing fee, to your original payment method. KARTR aims to review and process name mismatch refunds within 10 working days of the issue being identified.

Outside of name mismatch errors, donations are non-refundable once processed. If you believe you have made a donation in error, please contact us at contact@joinkartr.com as soon as possible and we will assess the situation on a case-by-case basis.

​

Donations are not tax-deductible and do not qualify for Gift Aid. KARTR Limited is a commercial company and not a registered charity.

​

KARTR does not guarantee any specific outcome, benefit, or acknowledgement from a driver in exchange for a donation. Donations are voluntary contributions and do not entitle the donor to any rights over the driver, their activities, or their sponsorship arrangements.

KARTR reserves the right to suspend or remove the donation feature from any driver profile at any time without notice.

​

7. KARTR Deals

KARTR Deals is a feature that provides members with access to exclusive discounts and offers on products and services relevant to motorsport and karting. Deals are provided by third-party suppliers and partners. KARTR acts as an introducer in connection with KARTR Deals. The contract for any product or service is between you and the relevant third-party provider, not KARTR. KARTR accepts no responsibility for the quality, availability, fulfilment, or suitability of any product or service offered through KARTR Deals.

 

KARTR may receive a commission or other benefit from third-party providers in connection with KARTR Deals. This is disclosed in the interest of transparency.

Deals are subject to availability and may be withdrawn or amended by the provider at any time. KARTR will endeavour to keep deal listings up to date but cannot guarantee that any offer remains available at the time of redemption.

​

KARTR Deals is available to registered and Verified KARTR members only.

​

8. KARTR Paddock

KARTR Paddock is a paid membership tier available to registered KARTR members. It is offered on a monthly or annual billing basis and provides access to a set of enhanced platform features as described below.

 

By subscribing to KARTR Paddock, you agree to the terms set out in this section in addition to all other terms in this agreement.

Billing and Renewal

KARTR Paddock subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis, either monthly or annually depending on the plan you select at the time of purchase. Your subscription will auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.

​

Where KARTR intends to increase the price of a Paddock subscription, we will provide you with at least 30 days notice before the new price takes effect. Notice will be given by email or via the platform. If you do not wish to continue at the new price, you may cancel your subscription before the renewal date in accordance with the cancellation terms below.

​

Cancellation

You may cancel your KARTR Paddock subscription at any time. On cancellation, your Paddock access and associated benefits will continue until the end of your current billing period, after which your account will revert to a standard free KARTR membership. No refunds will be issued for any unused portion of a billing period.

​

KARTR reserves the right to terminate a Paddock membership immediately and without refund where a member has violated these Terms or is found to be abusing their account or the platform. In such cases, the provisions of Section 11 (Suspension and Termination) apply.

​

Discount Codes and Promotional Offers

KARTR may, at its sole discretion, issue promotional discount codes offering free months or reduced pricing on Paddock memberships. These are issued on a case-by-case basis and their availability is not guaranteed to any user. Promotional offers may be subject to additional conditions which will be communicated at the time of issue.

Paddock Features

KARTR Paddock members receive access to the following benefits during their active subscription period:

• Enhanced KARTR Deals:

  • Paddock members receive access to a broader range of discounts and offers through KARTR Deals where available. Enhanced deal access is not guaranteed at all times and is subject to the availability of participating third-party providers. The terms of Section 7 (KARTR Deals) apply in full.

• Highlighted Profiles:

  • When a Paddock member's profile is presented to a brand or sponsor through KARTR, their profile may be visually highlighted or prioritised in presentation. KARTR does not guarantee any specific outcome, deal, or level of engagement as a result of this feature.

• KARTR Fund:

  • Paddock members are automatically entered into the KARTR Fund, a discretionary prize fund awarded to one KARTR-selected member every three months. The value of the fund is set and may be increased by KARTR at its sole discretion, including in response to growth in Paddock membership. Selection is made by KARTR and takes into account factors including profile completeness and activity on social media, though final selection remains at KARTR's sole discretion. KARTR does not guarantee that any member will receive a Fund award, and no entitlement to the Fund arises by virtue of holding a Paddock membership.

 

9. Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises between a driver and a brand regarding a sponsorship deal made through KARTR, either party may raise a formal dispute through the platform.

KARTR will act as a neutral mediator and will:

• Review all relevant on-platform communications and deal documentation

• Invite both parties to submit their account of events

• Issue a recommended resolution within a reasonable timeframe

​

While KARTR will make every effort to reach a fair outcome, our mediation is not legally binding. Either party retains the right to pursue the matter through appropriate legal channels. KARTR's decision on platform-related consequences (such as account suspension) is final.

10. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you upload to KARTR, including profile text, photos, videos, and brand assets ("User Content").

​

By uploading User Content, you grant KARTR a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, and reproduce that content solely for the purpose of operating and promoting the KARTR platform (for example, featuring a driver profile in marketing materials).

​

You confirm that you own or have the rights to any content you upload, and that it does not infringe any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.

​

We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms or that we deem inappropriate, without notice.

​

11. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Provide false, misleading or fraudulent information on your profile or in any deal

• Harass, threaten or abuse other users Use the platform for any unlawful purpose

• Attempt to circumvent KARTR's commission by taking deals off-platform after making contact through KARTR

• Scrape, copy or redistribute platform content without our permission

• Upload content that is defamatory, discriminatory, or infringes any third party's rights Interfere with the platform's security or technical infrastructure

12. Suspension and Termination

KARTR reserves the right to suspend or permanently remove any user account at our sole discretion, including where we believe a user has violated these Terms, acted fraudulently, or behaved in a way that is harmful to other users or to the platform.

You may close your account at any time by contacting us at contact@joinkartr.com. Closing your account does not affect any deals in progress or outstanding obligations.

​

13. KARTR's Liability

KARTR provides the platform on an "as is" basis. While we work hard to keep the platform reliable and available, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that the platform will be error-free.

​

To the fullest extent permitted by law, KARTR is not liable for:

• The conduct, representations or promises of any driver or brand on the platform

• The outcome of any sponsorship deal, whether or not mediated by KARTR Any indirect, consequential or financial losses arising from use of the platform

• Any loss of data, revenue or opportunity

​

14. Intellectual Property

All KARTR branding, design, software, and platform content (excluding User Content) is owned by or licensed to KARTR. You may not copy, reproduce, or use any of it without our prior written consent.

​

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Where changes are material, we will notify you by email or via the platform at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of KARTR after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

​

16. Governing Law

Any disputes regarding these Terms will be subject to the laws of England and Wales as a default.
