I made national finals 🙌🙌

I had a great day at Gosport for the regionals and with a tough final managed to hold my position and finish p3.

So I’m going to nationals 👍

Buckmore round 8 race report.

So it was an up and down day for me.

Heat 1.... 12th to 7th but got a pen so went back to 16th

Heat 2.... 4th to 2nd

Heat 3.... 9th to 2nd

sat Qualifying p14 sat heat started 24th finished 16th sat pre final started 24th finished 18th sat final started 18th finished 15th sun qualifying p15 sun heat dns sun pre final started 26th finished p16 sun final started p16 finished p16

Race Report from round 8 of the at @Midland karting

very eventful Saturday racing on Super track

practice - set great time felt really good in the kart fastest in practice

Qualifing - went out seting great time then disaster struck my belt tensioner broke and I was at a standstill 🫣 there was a red flag so I could get back pits as it wouldn't take long to fix quali was delayed till kart was fixed which it was and so I went back out set the 2nd fastest time missing out by 0.045 sec so close

Heat 1 started 2nd got off the line well but in the first corner I was in the tyres RED FLAG re-start great start again managed to keep pace with p1 @jamalp_karting then 6 laps in red flag again some one broke down got going again kept p2

Heat 2 - started…

Dissapointing news….

After an hour of fighting on track, I unfortunately missed out on achieving my BUKC license.

I improved every lap, being one of the only drivers to not spin out on track or get black flagged but unfortunately it came down to my speed in the end, missing out of the lap time average needed to pass by 1 second….

Of course I’m gutted but I’m going to try harder to improve and hopefully make the next test day at Buckmore park

Test day is soon approaching for me at the British university karting championship where I will go up against hundreds if not thousands of students in an attempt to earn my license for the season.

I can’t lie, considering the test day is this Tuesday, I’m far from ready!!

Anyone got some advice for whilton mill? I’ve raced it a few times but you lot may know something I don’t 😂
