Hey guys just wondered what everyone’s weekend plans were ?
Are you racing? If so when are where.
We have junior Kartmaster on Sunday at Brighton karting - usually competes in the adult karting but most friends are in the juniors so going for a battle with them 🤣
Also going to festival of speed on Saturday with dad 👍

Hi, I am Emilio's mum.

We are new to the world of karting and motorsport but I am discovering there are many barriers for talented youngsters in reaching professional motorsport level and so I'm currently carrying out an independent study (not connected to my son and his karting) into how young drivers progress from grassroots karting into professional motorsport (Formula 1, Formula E, IndyCar, endurance racing and other professional series).
The aim is to better understand:
How talented drivers are currently identified.
Whether the current pathway is working effectively.
What barriers exist for young drivers.
What those involved in grassroots karting believe could be improved.
