race report from the my DRS50 on Sunday

New track for me as I had never been to hooton park before no pre test for me on this one so had to wait around for my warm up

warm was my first chance to learn the track and understand what I could do set the 12th fastest time in my group which was a strong group some big and up coming names in karting so I know that seting a top 10 time in quali was going to be hard🫣🫣

quali time....... I went and did i set a top 10 time Qualified 9th over the moon with this

heat 1 - Got off to a good start was involved in some great battles but as i have always done in my first heat I lost some places and ended up 11th which i was not very happy with but its all learning

heat 2 - what a start I had did what I always do and put my foot down and went for it and it paid off went from 11th to 4th in the first 3 corners this was an amazing race battles all around one of the funniest race I have had but after all the battles I ended up 9th so this ment off to the b final for me

b final started 4th - again off to a great start 1st by the 3rd corner and started to pull away ended the first lap in 1st lost a bit of time on 2nd lap but was still first up until the last corner where I ended up being bagged from behind and then span on to the grass nothing I could do but get back on track and try and chase them down but the gap was 2 much so end 8th this was every disappointing for me as I feel it was there for the win and this was a way to get back in A final the must frustrated thing was there was no penalties given for spinning me off🤔🤔

over all I had a great day out karting my journey continues my learning continues I will keep going and this one was great as one of my big sisters @𝒦 𓏲ּ𝄢 was able to come and watch
