My July 26th race
What an afternoon it was.
On this July 26th, I headed back to Douvrin to race once again at KLL Loisirs.
It was such a moment with, for the first time in my short racing career, changing conditions.
Used to race on a dry track (sometimes with too hot temperatures), it was the first time I had to face a track where the lines and conditions changed lap after lap. Starting with rain during Qualifying then seeing the track drying to race on a dry track.
The race day showed me I had to work a lot on my driving in wet weather to improve with such hard conditions !
During races, I got a really nice pace and got some great fights and even great moves (Double overtake in hairpin !). I also had some bad luck that led the results not to show how good were my races.
Results :
Qualifying : Group B (15th to 28th)
Race 1 : 14th -> 7th
Race 2 : 7th -> 10th
Race 3 : 10th -> 9th
Race 4 : 9th -> 7th
General : 21st/28.
So hard driving in the wet. Well done though đź‘Ť sounds a great race
